Join us for Kids Connect: Sundays!

9:00 & 10:30am Worship Services
Families with children in Preschool through 5th grade will join together for worship at the start of church. Then, while adults hear the sermon, kids have fun with age-appropriate teaching and activities led by our trained Shepherd team!​

Read on to find out how Kids Connect check-in works!

​What does my family do?

1. When you arrive at OSLC, look for the orange banners by the Kids Ministry check-in station in the lobby.
2. Register your child to get a sticker nametag and pick-up barcode. Then, head into church as a family and worship together!
3. Kids will be dismissed to follow their leaders to Kids Connect before the sermon. You can send them or walk with them (your choice).
4. Once church lets out, pick up your child at their class location.
5. Have a conversation about what they learned in Kids Connect and what you learned in the sermon, and go live it!​

Why does Kids Connect Sunday School work like this?
We dream that every young person would grow and continue in their faith long after their early years. Research shows that intergenerational worship and informal faith conversations are two of the most impactful elements for young people in their faith formation, and OSLC aims to provide this to kids and families.  To learn more about this research, click here.

Kids Connect At Home

​Nothing is quite like going to Kids Connect at church, but you can use the weekly kids message videos to have a mini Kids Connect time in your very own home! These clips share a topic with each Sunday’s Kids’ Message. Watch together as a family, and open a world of faith conversations as you ask your kids what they think these topics mean and how to live it. Keep learning your Bible verses! When your child has memorized this month’s verse, please email the video to Dereem.

Nursery
(During 9:00am services)

We welcome your infants through three-year-olds to our nursery!
Our purpose includes helping your child to:

• Feel comfortable, loved, safe and secure.
  
• Learn how to share and take turns.
• Know that Jesus loves him/her.
• Nursery care is available for all worship services and selected special events.

We need loving volunteers to join the team!

The Parent Cue App

Parents!
You have a tough job! Make daily or weekly use of the Parent Cue app for help with discipling your children in faith and for other great parenting tips! It is an excellent resource and matches our Sunday School Kids Connect curriculum.

You can download the free Parent Cue app or visit their website. Follow the app's directions to add your kids’ names and ages to receive age-appropriate content for each level. You will enjoy a wealth of information, including blogs, podcasts, articles, and more!
