The Tacoma Campus, located in the Summit View area of South Tacoma, has been committed to serving our community in Central Pierce County since our humble beginning in 1962.
In March 2025, OSLC merged with Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Puyallup Valley, right across the street from Puyallup High School. The people at Immanuel have been serving the community of Puyallup since 1921, and will continue to do so in amazing ways moving forward.
OSLC has been live streaming worship since 2016, but it was during the days of the pandemic in 2020 that we developed an online campus with the intention of staying connected with those who are not able to worship in person. Our Online Campus continues to reach over 300 people each week.

At Our Savior, our mission is to make disciples who love God, love people, and live like Jesus. As we pursue our mission, we value the following; fostering a culture of care and belonging, living generously, making truth relevant, living life on mission, being in a personal relationship with Jesus, and being true to God’s Word because God’s Word is true. This is who we are at our core.
Generations of people in Central Pierce County know that Our Savior is a safe place to come as we are. Our partnerships with the community and local schools have cultivated unique relationships allowing us to be part of the solution for food insecurity, housing instability, and community development.
Our Savior uniquely strives to be an intergenerational community of people who know and love the Word of God. Our programs focus on equipping each person to have a growing relationship with God as they Jesus on His mission where they live, work, learn, and play.
If you are a person of faith, little faith, or no faith - let’s figure out how best to love God, love people, and live like Jesus together.

FAQ
I haven't been to church in a long time. Is It okay for me to come?
You bet! In fact, we don’t care if you've never been to church. Every weekend, many people visit OSLC for the first time. Our worship services are easy to follow and don’t require that you have any past church experience.
Do I have to be a Lutheran to come to OSLC?
Not at all. It is not necessary for you to be a Lutheran to come to OSLC. We are open to all people seeking to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Being Lutheran isn’t nearly as important as simply having a heart to seek Christ. If you want to learn more about Lutheran doctrine, that’s an option. But it’s certainly not a requirement for attending.
