A Quick History of Our Savior Lutheran.

Our Savior Lutheran Church began meeting at Collins Grange in the early 1960's.
Quickly out growing that space, the location at Bingham and 112th St E was purchased, and a sanctuary and education wing were built and dedicated in 1963.
Experiencing another boom of growth In the late 80's and early 90's, the decision was made to add on a larger sanctuary. That was finished in 1993. Several lots surrounding the original property were purchased around this time, as well, with the vision to expand ministry opportunities.
Outreach and Connections ministries utilize the property to the west of the church for our Car Shop, Backpacks 4 Kids, and Abundance Garden serving opportunities.
In November 2016, an arsonist set fire to the worship center and a portion of the lobby. OSLC quickly became a mobile church and met at Ford Middle School for several months while renovations were made. OSLC continues to have a strong relationship with the Franklin Pierce School District.
In March of 2025, Our Savior merged with Immanuel in downtown Puyallup, and the mission of Loving God, Loving People, and Living Like Jesus continues to grow.
