Backpacks 4 Kids
... with the help of the Franklin Pierce School District, identifies hungry children in local schools and supplies them with child-friendly, food items to feed them through the weekend.
Faith In Action
We are neighbors who want to be involved in the Parkland-Summit-Waller community through simple acts of service. Our goal is to seek out and respond to needs in and around our area.
Community Engagement Center
Our Community Engagement Center at the Puyallup Campus is a hub of connection, service, and support.
SCHOOL Tutoring
OSLC provides tutoring for Elementary & Secondary students at our Puyallup Campus.
Volunteer to help run the program, or sign your student up to receive tutoring.
Back to School Fair
OSLC wants to ensure that kids in our area have adequate supplies to be successful in school. Every August, the Back to School Fair provides a full backpack of school supplies and a winter coat to over 400 local students.
Abundance Garden
...provides hundreds of pounds of fresh produce for our local Nourish Food Bank.
Joy of Generosity
Every year, our Elders allocate a tithe of our annual budget to support local, regional and global ministries.
Giving Tree
...helps families in our community with the demands of extra holiday purchases in December.
All volunteer leaders are required to submit a Volunteer Application and be appropriately screened and trained before serving in any volunteer capacity at OSLC.
The Participation Form is our main source of information, medical release, photo release and authorizations for children, youth, and adults to participate in activities or events with OSLC.
