Primary Responsibility
The primary responsibility of OSLC AVL Techs is to create a distraction free environment for worship. We pursue this goal with the hearts of servants... serving the Lord, our community, our members, our leaders, and our fellow team members.
The role of AVL techs is crucial during services. When we do not pay attention to the task at hand, we can be the most distracting element in worship. Everyone notices audio feedback, a missed lyric slide cue or typo, etc... While we may not attain perfection, we strive for excellence. |
OSLC AVL is Recruiting New Team Members
We are always keeping an ear to the ground when it comes to finding new recruits.
Finding techs isn’t always easy. It is a ministry that requires a huge commitment of time… but also requires a certain level of skill, tech savviness, and a willingness to learn and grow. Below is a list of “qualifications” for folks who might fit well on our team… While the content of this page is lighthearted, we are very serious about serving others and "preparing the stage." You might be an AVL tech if:
Of course, you don’t need to check all the boxes on this list, but If you are passionate about any of these things, that is more important than knowing how to operate a piece of the gear to make it happen… We’ll provide all the training you’ll need to serve with confidence. If you are interested, contact Matt Kees. |
AVL Positions
There are several systems that we operate to help our services deliver the Good News every Sunday.
We like to cross train folks in as many areas as they desire.
The number one role & requirement of all of our techs is 'attentiveness'...
At any given moment, something may go awry, and we need to be aware to solve or troubleshoot any problems.
Below are some general responsibilities of each position, these lists are not exhaustive.
