We Celebrate These Milestones...
One of our Faith Milestones, Bible presentations, is about getting God's Word into the hands of our kids. We believe God's Word is true and we seek to be true to God's Word.
Current 3rd graders and those turning 3 years old by Sept. are presented with age appropriate bibles and receive a blessing during the worship service. The presentation and blessing will take place Sunday Sept. 19. You may choose to attend the 9:30am or 11am service. Please register to ensure your child will be receiving their Bible. First Communion class happens in October, and focuses on Jesus' command to eat and drink of his body and blood. Participation in this sacrament is preceded by baptism and instruction about communion. Class is designed for 5th graders and above.
If you have a child that is interested in First Communion and is above 5th grade please contact Matt Class will be Sunday Sept. 19 at 12:30pm. Parent(s)should also be in attendance. The First Communion Celebration will take place Sunday Oct. 31. You may choose to attend the 9:30am or 11am service.
