WHAT HAPPENS DURING OUR WORSHIP SERVICES?

• Our services consist of Prayer, Confession & Forgiveness, Songs of Worship and Praise, Reading from Scripture, a Statement of Belief, the Lord's Prayer, an Opportunity to Give, Holy Communion, and a Sermon.
• We encourage folks to use the Church Center App for Sermon Notes, filling out a Connection Card, and Electronic Giving.

WHAT ABOUT MUSIC?

• The music is led by our Director of Worship Arts, Gerod, and one of our worship teams.
• The teams consist of several singers, acoustic & electric guitar, keyboards, bass guitar, drums, and various other instruments.
• We use new worship songs by modern hymn writers. We also sing our favorite older hymns and sometimes arrange them in a new style.
• The words of the songs are projected.
• We utilize environmental projection and special lighting to help us focus our worship experience.

WHAT ABOUT COMMUNION?

• We celebrate the Lord's Supper almost every Sunday.
• Baptized adult Christians who know they need God’s daily forgiveness, who are sorry for their sins and seek God’s forgiveness, and who believe that the body and blood of Jesus Christ are truly present in the Lord’s Supper are invited to share this great gift of God with us.

THE SERMON

• At OSLC, Sunday sermons are usually part of a series. Sermon series are focused on a particular topic or study, and typically run several weeks.
  
• Sermon notes can be found on the Church Center App, or on the handout you receive when you enter the Worship Center.

FAMILIES & KIDS

• Kids Connect  //  9:00 & 10:30am for preschool age through 5th Grade. Look for the Kids Ministry Check-In Station in the lobby.
• Nursery Care  //  9:00am for infants through age 3.
• Busy Bags  //  Families with young children are always welcome in our services, we have special "Busy Bags" available for the kiddos. Grab one in the lobby on your way into worship.
• Family Worship Room  //  For parents with children who need a little extra wiggle room, or for mothers who are nursing, this room is in the back of the Worship Center, accessible behind the sound booth.
• Overflow  //  There is another overflow worship room for adults accessible through the lobby. This is a great space for our friends with special needs.
