It's Official!!

We are excited to introduce our 2024/2025 school year teachers!

For those who don't know OSLC Preschool is expanding! Starting in the fall of 2024, our 3 year olds will meet 3 Days a week in our new classroom, and our PreK/4 Year olds 5 Days a week in the current Preschool classroom. We are so excited to introduce our new team and share some of what they will be doing this upcoming 24/25 school year!

Pre-K 4's Team

We are so excited to lead the Pre-K 4-year-olds in our learning together. If we happen to look alike, It's because we are twin sisters and have always thought it would be wonderful to teach together!

Next year, we will sing, laugh, and learn in the current preschool classroom Monday through Friday, from 9:00am-12:00 Noon. We will be dedicating Tuesday and Thursday mornings to STEAM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math.) We have some amazing plans in the works and would love to have you join us!

Preschool 3's Team

Miss Erica and Miss Pam will be welcoming your Preschool 3-year-olds into a new classroom! During the month of June, the current OSLC Nursery will be renovated to provide both a learning space for the Preschool students and a welcoming nursery to be used on Sundays and Tuesdays.

The Preschool 3's class will meet Monday, Wednesday, Friday Mornings, from 9:00am-12:00 noon. If you would like to visit the completed room, please join out Preschool Open House on June 26th, beginning at 6:00pm. We would love to meet you, share the classroom, and answer any questions you might have.

Lissa Ruggels

Hello! My name is Lissa Ruggels. I am a member of OSLC, and I serve as the Preschool Director/Lead Teacher. I earned my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education from Pacific Lutheran University. I taught first grade and kindergarten children in the public school system for 16 years before raising a family of my own. I am so excited to have returned to my first love--the classroom!
