This week, I am cross-sharing a podcast featuring our own Gerod Bass from February 28, 2023.
Mike Von Behren (Northwest District President) and Gerod discuss the arts and having and "open door policy" for a church building serve as a bridge into the community. We get to hear how Gerod's gifts and talents led to launching Mustard Seed Theatre after the 2016 fire and digs into what the calling to discipleship looks like when you cross boundaries to share the love of Christ. After listening, if you were inspired to take the next step and discover your God-given calling, go to oslc.com/design. You can find a group or contact someone to start your conversation.

The inclusivity afforded me as an 87 year old member speaks volumes about your willingness to challenge me to serve others and find joy in doing so. The Holy Spirit does remarkable things biblically and now, I too, may testify that indeed I have a new vision and life orientation in the faith. Your direction guided me to Christian Leaders Institute (CLI) where I am now enrolled taking a three hour course MIN 275 to better orient me to the calling I am following serving the senior citizen community here at OSLC and at the 501c3 Senior Community Center, The Mustard Seed Project of the Key Peninsula. Many thanks,

I love what God is doing in your life, Ray. You're living proof that God's work and calling is for all generations! I'm glad you're connecting with the CLI and loving God, loving people, and living like Jesus among the folks out on the Peninsula. You're a blessing. -pt
