How to Use Faith In Action:
|
Community Action TeamsOur Community Action Teams can tackle a job for those who lack the means or the know how. Friends and neighbors recommend projects and our teams get it done. We have provided safe handrails, heavy lifting for single moms, yard work for seniors, painting, plumbing, and more.
OSLC Car Shop
Transportation is an essential part of economic stability. The OSLC Car Shop seeks to provide dependable transportation to those who can least afford it. Our certified mechanics take on minor repairs while volunteers help with oil changes. Help is always needed in the Car Shop. No skills necessary. Our certified mechanics can show you what to do.
Backpacks 4 KidsEach week during the school year, we serve over 475 kids in Franklin Pierce through our Backpacks 4 Kids program. During Faith in Action, we pre-pack close to 10,000 food items that are used by the weekly program.
Meals MinistryIn conjunction with Faith in Action, we prepare freezer meals for people in our OSLC community and our Franklin Pierce community. Please join us as we love on people by providing meals for those in need.
